How does the sauna work?
Our sauna is a bath of very warm, dry air in an enclosed space of natural wood, where our wood burning heater produces the heat that makes you sweat.
When water is poured on the hot rocks, it evaporates and creates a burst of steam, which raises the humidity level inside the sauna. This can help to open up the airways and make it easier to breathe, as well as making the heat feel more intense.
What is the temperature inside the sauna?
Traditionally a Finnish sauna will fluctuate between 85°C and 100°C, with humidity reaching no higher than 30%. These levels can be easily adjusted to suit with the help from one of our team members.
What are the rules for using the sauna?
Bathing suits must be worn at all times—no nudity thank you!
As our sauna is a shared space, we kindly ask that you maintain a minimal noise level to respect the experience of others.
Please be courteous to fellow patrons and our team members. If you have any questions or encounter disrespectful behaviour, don't hesitate to approach a member of our staff for assistance.
